Ollin Tea Cafe - Anchorage

Have been trying to order from here for a hot minute because I love their tacos but they won't pick up their phone and for some reason the online ordering system won't take any card I try to input into the system to pay...I've tried several of mine and several of my friends, all different brands and all with more than enough in there to pay for the orders. The website just tells me something went wrong with my card and to input the card info again. Not sure what to do at this point as their phone mailbox is also full. This is my last ditch attempt at figuring this out so I can have those amazing tacos again.

The food is pretty decent wish the sandwich was more than just bread and some chicken, bacon and avocado. The Jamacia, and mango aguas fresca was pretty tasty, would probably go back for that after this whole pandemic is over. The concha was pretty good . Highly would not recommend if you are into health precautions. They require you as a customer to mask up to wait by the door but also they don't require their workers to wear one? . Seems a bit hypocritical on wearing a mask if they aren't wearing one while handling your food. They ended up giving me a call to explain to me why they are not wearing masks, they said they wear them while preparing food, but when i went back to see if the food is ready they still didn't have one on. Seems like they called for me to change what i said in my review, i know these reviews can hurt some business, but you should really follow the mandates that are in place for business that are handling food. hope they can get this fixed

4.5 go up or down but their mocha made it up... Not a coffee pro ... Just a good vs bitter/burnt preference but their mocha was indeed special... Tasted different and full ?? Food was soggy by nature of covid food to go...I guess it is what it is. Chips were a little stale but flavor was great... Hopefully I 'll get a chance to dine in!

Have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. I heard of their wall of tea but also the variety of food. Check out the menu it's pretty spread out on what you can get. Once before I was going to order online but backed out when I saw they automatically charge you 20% tip. Later on I tried again. Ordering from their website verses through yelp is exactly the same, both were very easy. You pay online and before checking out you can adjust the tip amount. I ordered a spicy Reuben, iced tea, and super BLT. The food was pretty good but overall it's kinda expensive. $13 and $14 for each sandwich and they aren't that big. The iced tea was $5.50 for a 20oz. Had diced fruit in it. Our sandwiches came with a few corn tortilla chips since we didn't opt to pay the $2 for the Hawaiian brand chips. I will try again and get a coffee when I can sit down and experience the cafe.

The best place when I'm craving breakfast with a Mexican flare. You really can't go wrong with anything here. This visit I ordered online for pick-up. The experience went without hiccup. I was called when my order was ready, which was the 35min the website said it'd be. We got the bacon breakfast quesadilla and the super burrito. Both hot and tasty. Portions were decent. Ollin also makes great Horchata centered drinks. We got the horchocolate (horchata chocolate) and Machata (horchata matcha). Both delicious with just the right amount of sweet. The online description of the Marcadito had me drooling so I assumed it was tastier than it ended up being. Probably won't get that again, but I'm not much of an espresso drinker FYI. Lastly, I got Ollin's fruit tart which was a treat I didn't want to end. Till next time Ollin's!
