The restaurant was unexpectedly closed for a private event without prior notice, leaving a large group of people unable to have dinner. Despite having a reservation for 6:30 pm, they were unable to find another place to dine. This was the worst experience with a restaurant reservation app.

Oh no! I made a reservation on Open Table, but when we arrived, the restaurant was closed.

We made a reservation at this restaurant, which had received a 4+ star rating on Open Table. When we arrived, we were surprised to find a notice from the sheriff and a warning that the restaurant was about to close. Despite our initial confusion, we ventured inside and discovered that the establishment was still open for business. However, it was apparent that the staff and some customers did not seem welcoming. As we sat down, we were informed that the restaurant's bathroom was out of order. This experience left us questioning the reliability of reviews on Open Table, as we had been directed to a restaurant that was struggling to stay in operation, despite its high rating on the website.
