Arigato Japanese - Anchorage

The food is good and the service is excellent, the servers are kind and attentive. I've only had their sushi but my husband enjoyed their kimchi and some of their chicken dishes as well. My only complaint is their sushi rolls are a little on the small side.

A small restaurant. Service is highly personalized and professional. Great food. A personal favorite of an old friend of mine. He introduced me to the place. He's been a loyal patron for decades, he said. And I am very happy to have found out about this place. Great experience here.

Came in for lunch on a Monday, was the first one in a little before noon and was met with a hot cup of tea and edamame. After ordering a couple rolls (Hawaiian and Haduken rolls) and some hot sake (don't judge me), out came the normal soup and salad combo. Once the rolls came out and I took the first bite I was brought to a euphoric sushi bliss....it's been a while since I've had quality sushi like this place offers!Once I was stuffed and could hold no more, out came a dish of watermelon which couldn't be resisted...I will definitely be back here soon!

The food was really really good. It’s a cute little restaurant that reminds me of the one I went to in Okinawa Japan. The food and service was really great!

Friendly staff. The Sushi isn’t very good grade and the portions are very small, especially the sashimi, maybe half the size of other places, if not smaller. The hand roll and nigiri were almost all rice.
