Wimpy's Diner - Ancaster

I ordered Poutine with the gravy on the side ( some restaurants saturate the fries ) , I heard the server order it that way and when the cook poured the gravy on the server again said I wanted the gravy on the side , I heard the cook reply take it to them anyway , they'll probably take it .When she brought it to the table I sent it back . The replacement came ( half the size of the first ) and barely enough gravy to wet the fries . He taught me a lesson " DON'T EVER GO BACK

Went in for dessert and coffee. Banana split average and cheesecake a little disappointing. Some of the diner food looked good. Burgers big and pretty good.

Never before been to Wimpy's and thought off typical hamburg, fries and hot dog place. My friend suggested Wimpy's for girls lunch visit. I was totally amazed at the choices of breakfast all day and many options, lunch, or dinner. Never did get to read whole menu as so much choice, We had special of day rice, bean medley soup which was very tasty and home made along with Monte Crisco sandwich with lots of ham and cheese grilled just the way we liked. My friend had coffee and said they always have great coffee here. Can't wait to go back and try breakfast or dinner or even another lunch as so many options. Service was prompt, friendly and restaurant appeared very clean!

Good service. Large menu with inexpensive breakfast. I had poutine which came quickly and tasted great.

Went for breakfast on Saturday morning and we had incredible service, our waitress was amazing. .we all had something different from pancakes to omelets and westerns and a full breakfast with bacon and eggs. The food came out so fast.. will.be back
