The ambiance and service were the standout features of the restaurant. However, as a vegetarian, I found the food to be quite basic and lacking in flair. The cheese plate was acceptable, but the artichokes needed some salt or acidity; they mostly tasted like oil. The sangria was good, but La Capilla felt a bit lacking in flavor—I couldn't detect any cilantro. The mushrooms were decent, but not exceptional. The chocolate citrus dessert was enjoyable. Overall, the atmosphere didn’t quite match the dining experience, especially considering the prices. I can't speak to the meat dishes, but my experience as a veterinarian leads me to believe that some restaurants heavily rely on their meat to mask the flavors of other options, leaving the vegetarian choices feeling somewhat bland and uninspired. This may have been the case with my meal.

It was a delightful experience the evening was fun and the food was great

We were initially seated at a table that wasn’t meant for our group, but the staff quickly moved us to a cozy spot on the couches by the window. This new seating was not only more comfortable but also offered a great view. We decided to order from the tapas menu and were quite pleased with the variety of dishes, including octopus, shrimp, pork belly, squash, and artichokes, which made for a delightful sharing experience. Overall, we’re looking forward to returning for a date night, where we can enjoy cocktails, more octopus, shrimp, and drinks!

From the time the waiter approached the table, we felt like we had started a race to see how fast he could get us to order, eat and pay the bill. Then the two dishes we ordered were the worst paella I have ever had, the fish sole fillet was so small and the flavor had to be covered with sauce to mask the artafisheal butter flavor and stale after test ,to be honest, I'm sure if this is the new team in the kitchen after the change in companies I would only return for a drink at the bar. Now the Frist time we had a great experience with the dish of Duck wow but it was the Radisson at that time . So for the price I would recommend driving to Newport and having a great dinner at any other Restaurant .

Horrible experience. They need to change their management. I think Dennys runs their operation better. Will not be returning
