Byrd's Hot Chicken - Anaheim

Damn good chicken. Great, crispy seasoned fries. Shakes were excellent as well. Friendly staff. Medium is pretty spicy heads up (I am white though, so take that with a grain of salt)

Needed a quick lunch so ran over to Byrd's Got Chicken. The menu is simplified so you make a fast choice and hot chicken is the name of the game. I got the Sandwich Combo. The lab fee has nice indoor seating and basketball was on the overhead TV. Glad there was something to watch since the service wasn't very fast. There was one couple there other than myself. Took my food to go and the chicken was great a were the fries and potato salad. Definitely recommend but don't expect McD's or Burger King speeds.

I had the tender combo. Taste was just ok. I ended up with really bad food poisoning the next day. Would not recommend.

Terrific hot chicken sandwich with slaw and a few pickles to temper the heat! It was an actual big piece of chicken, too. Hot was plenty hot for me, but they have plain, mild, medium, hot and “supahot”, too. It’s fast food, but it’s a really good chicken sandwich. You can get it with fries, but I passed on those.

1st timer, So my son and I tried many items. We loved the Chicken, Fries and the Fried Green Beans. The Staff excellent and I would definitely come back. I would like to try the Chocolate Shake next time.
