La Piazzetta - ANAGNI

Superb stay in a beautiful historic town. Stayed 2 nights to be close to Rome FCO airport (1 hour away). Rooms were modern (albeit in a classic medieval building) ,clean, spacious and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant 3 times. The food is great and the wine is excellent (classic Lazio offerings). Sergio was a great host.

You don 't expect a restaurant that is right in the middle of the main tourist area of Anagni di be anything better than at most decent . Not so. This restaurant deserves all the positive remarks I have read. The Piazzetta was truly a surprise and a place worthwhile returning to. Hand cut ham (prosciutto), hand made pasta, good meat. The owner is proud of his establishment and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. This is a family run restaurant (father and daughter) and the food was truly outstanding.

Beautiful place. The service was really nice. The waiter spoke english and offered us dishes based on our preferences. I had no problem getting vegan meal. Food was great, it's italian kitchen. The view is stunning. On Monday night it was really calm. :

Una camera molto suggestiva, la camera, molto grande, con soffitto a cassettoni, in un palazzo così antico, con una magnifica vista sulla città medievale, un bagno ultra confortevole e pulito. ciliegia sulla torta, una macchina da caffè con baccelli per assaporare i clienti. gentilezza di altre volte. altamente raccomandato per chi vuole andare a visitare Anagni e la sua cattedrale
