Café Aen't Water - Amsterdam Nederland

I've been to this place every time I've found myself in Amsterdam and I have really enjoyed it. It sits along a canal where you can have a beer and daydream and watch the people and bikes go past. Friendly barkeeps who will have a chat with you if you like. I enjoyed the rock/metal live concert dvds they play and had a nice long chat with the barman about favorite musicians, etc. Prices for beer seem to be a bit higher than others, but I think the ambiance and service make up for it and wasn't bothered.

Nog nooit zo slecht bediend. De vrouwelijke bediede heeft ons letterlijk verteld dat apart betalen voor haar niet uit kwam en ze verder moest omdat andere klanten op haar wachtte er stonden 3 andere bediendes op het terras/ binnen plus er was relatief rustig op het terras). Ze had de hele tijd een arrogante uitstraling en had geen enkele zin om ons te helpen en tot dienst te zijn, wat ze ook duidelijk uitte.

Expensive beer. 4,4eur for a normal beer. Not worth a visit, too expensive.
