Moshik - Amsterdam

Food is good enough, served promptly, and portions are decent. The friendly knowledgeable staff adds to the experience. I didn't like the space, distribution of tables, seating in booths is uncomfortable, and subtracts from the experience.... Especially considering the price. I don't have any general complaint, however for a 2-Michelin star restaurant, I'd expect every single dish to be out of this world... And this want the case, one or two were espectacular, the rest, more on the good side.

Not sure how they got the two M stars. Service was fair, but nothing more then fair. Food was full of foam. They are not untasty, somehow too plain to be remembered. Portions were small. Side bread are not warm. Bread have been generously and repeatedly served the whole night together with the entry, first course, second course. With this budget I advise you go to Restaurant Spectrum, it might be more worth to spend an evening then here.

My birthday dinner. It is not often you experience this level of sophistication, elegance, culinary wit and pure tastiness in plate after plate within the same dinner. This was such an occasion. &Samhoud Places is a gem and the service was outstanding! As our waiter realized our table of eight was overwhelmingly Italian, he seamlessly switched language for the remainder of the evening, explaining and guiding us through complex dishes. To top it all off, at the end I (the birthday girl) was presented with a personal chocolate mousse cake to take home. Since I have a hard time sharing when it comes to all things chocolate, this was most highly appreciated. What a great night. Great company, as well. Thank you everyone at &Samhoud Places for making this a most special celebration.

I've been privileged enough to go to may Michelin star restaurants around the world. This was our 2nd experience because we loved it so much the 1st time. Service is impeccable with attention to every detail and treat you like family. Makes for a elegant dining environment without being so stiff. Now the food EXQUISITE beautiful presentation, finest ingredients, fully able to accommodate my celiac by the way their gluten free bread is the best in Amsterdam! You will not be disappointed- tasting menu!

One word ART !!! The food is incredible, the atmosphere was amazing. The chef is so understanding, I don't eat a lot of ingredients, so he ask me what would I eat , and make me a dishes that I couldn't stop eating! It was expansive, but worth every penny!!!
