Bidrage med feedbackI used to love this place for dinner, especially for their Steak, but the experience wasn 't as good as it used to be before. 5* 's to their service and ambiance. Lunch the terrace during Summer is fantastic. Still a great place to hang out for a family dinner.
Great charming local place. Service was excellent. We had the bread and butter as a starter, cheese fondue, rotisserie chicken and sea bass for entrees. All excellent. Best espresso I've had in two weeks in Europe. Highly recommend!!
I very much enjoyed dinner here with a group of work colleagues. Every course was delicious and servers were very attentive.
We had a wonderful experience here. We were the only patrons in the restaurant who weren't speaking Dutch. Everything from service to the food to the atmosphere was top notch, and it was at a brasserie that is almost 400 years old. We all took advantage of the prix fixe menu, that had a number of options for an appetizer, main, and dessert. I opted for a toasted brioche that was covered in sautéed mushrooms with a porcini sauce. My main was a filet of skate with prawns and a lobster sauce. For dessert I had the Chocolate Paardenburg, which was a chocolate cake with mousse atop all contained in a ganache shell, served with vanilla ice cream. It was all an amazing dining experience, the best one during this trip, and frankly, one of my top ever. We liked it so much we went for lunch out last full day in country. Raw oysters taste better over there.
Office outing on a Monday night it took way too long for the main course to be served. We were one of the first groups to arrive and one of the last to start with the main course... We were offered a free cup of coffee for the long wait Food was so so as we were a group of 10+ we opted for the set menu. colleagues were disappointed with the meat; Loetje, a few buildings away, is way better. I had the fish, which was very bland; it only tasted good mixed with the accompanying risotto. Pinot Grigio was good!
