Bidrage med feedbackWe had been with the weekend menu, we got it. Today we try the menu from day to €, first: the right beans without more, and the garlic soup equal. Then only seconds: homemade burgers well, and rich chicharro. dessert rice with milk and cheese with quince. Good service and normal menu. I expected better.
We were eating a Saturday that we booked a table for adults and two children. We ask for a special weekend menu for each (which should be booked previously) and spaghetti with tomato (it would have been good that they could put to choose macaroni, for example) and croquettes for children. with the menu, the bottle of water, the wine bottle of the year and the bread ration for each. tickets are fixed and then you can choose the second dish. I mean, there were more meat options (perhaps others on the menu)Mess of Iberic Intrantes (jamon, sausage, sausage, chorizo and also seemed to have spades per head) with two sauces (green and mayonnaise on the plate per head) the food was very rich and except one of the coconuts, the size was generous. The same can be said of desserts. the service itself was good though it took a lot between dish and dish. We were fine.
Repetiremos seguro.
We arrived at our B&B late, a little concerned about where we might get dinner on a Sunday night in what felt like such a remote location to two city dwellers like ourselves. After leaving the hustle and bustle of lively Bilbao (and after two days of eating only pintxos), finding this little traditional basque haven in the hills was a welcome surprise. The padrons were salty goodness treats, followed by some tasty baby octopus, a luscious seafood paella and a cheeky cheesecake to finish. We were more than surprised, we were massively impressed. Would definitely come again if we found ourselves in the area. The service was fantastic too with the waitress being very patient with our terrible local language attempts! Highly recommended.
