Bidrage med feedbackI grew up in Amherst and Teasers was always the best place for dinner and a beer (or 3) Fish n chips, or Steak dinner, always a fantastic value and good food. Come for dinner and stay for the bands or music. Pool tables and...VLT if this is your thing. Great place to cool with friends and some pitchers. *Note, I had to insert a date that I visited, but it was awhile, regardless of which the review is valid*
Food in order. The Wing Night is Thursdays and the service is really bad, even if there are not many people, so I think they need to rent more people for this night. The Wing Night does not begin until 530, which really disapoinaitng since. I was there at 515 a night and could not order any wings.
It went to lunch and watch a game some of them had the sandwich special and the two of us had the fish and chips. but the sandwiches wished they had fish and chips, it is the best fish and chips in the heart. the service is a little slow if they don't mind waiting, it's okay, but I don't recommend when they're in a hurry. it's a pub style place as it looks like they're still cleaning up from the night before, but it's not that look that they look for their great food.
Their fish and chips are excellent taste and value. When we first had, we ordered the two pieces of fish and chips far more than we could eat. The one piece is a very generous portion and their freshly cut pommes are excellent. The piece...fish is huge! We also enjoy their breakfast. We live nearby and go on a semi regular basis.
On Saturday evening, we stopped by before 11pm to have drinks with friends. However, we were informed by the bartender that they were closing at 12 midnight due to lack of customers, even though their normal operating hours go until 2 am. We were a group of 7 friends, but decided to take our business elsewhere for the evening. It should be noted that if you leave a review on social media about your experience, the staff may contact you through private message to justify their decision. We will not be returning until we have a conversation with the management.
