The Bistro At Labelle Winery Amherst

My fiancé and I had a fantastic experience at Labelle! Our server, Aidan, was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. Our food and drinks were served quickly and were absolutely perfect! We shared the cheese board and each enjoyed a glass (or two!) of some wonderfully refreshing white wine. The food was great, and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning!

The dining experience was elevated by the upscale food, with delightful little touches that brought the dishes to life. The moist, flavorful lamb meatballs were accompanied by a rich tomato sauce and pita bread. The mussels, cooked in a wine and garlic sauce with purple basil, were perfectly prepared—juicy and not at all dry. The Caprese salad was good, but adding heirloom tomatoes would enhance its flavor, while the burrata was simply perfect. We appreciated Niamh's recommendations; she provided excellent service, offered tastings of the suggested wines, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The patio featured live music, which made for a lovely atmosphere as we savored our food and wine on that warm summer evening.

I had already perused the menu in advance and decided on the Lobster Benedict, which turned out to be delicious and cooked to perfection! The potatoes were crisp and had a nice chew to them. The Bistro is a charming venue that strikes the perfect balance between casual and upscale dining. I will definitely return and hope to sit outside on their beautiful patio next time. It’s also very easy to locate right off Route 101, with great signage along the road as well!

Thank you, Jo Jo, for a wonderful dining experience. The mussels, fried chicken wings, and burger were delicious. And to cap off the evening, a birthday dessert with a sparking flame in cheesecake. Very romantic and intimate dinner. Thank you.

Service was excellent; the waitstaff are friendly and efficient. The wine is just lovely and so were mixed drinks. The place is beautiful and inviting. Regarding the food, the bread basket is lovely, delicious. Desserts were spectacular--the Turtle Cheese cake and Chocolate Butterscotch Decadence. The French Onion soup is perfect. However, the mussels were very disappointing. The broth/sauce was flavorless and relatively missing--just a little bit pooled underneath the mussels. The meat of each mussel was dry without any depth of flavor. Moreover, the lamb meatballs were dry and tough. Adding some fresh parsley, fresh oregano, and touch of grated onion, with an egg will plump and moisten and tenderize the meatballs--just saying. It's such a lovely place, we will be back and try some different dishes. Lorie D
