Bidrage med feedbackThis was my first trip to Savanna 's and I wasn 't sure what to expect because the yelp reviews said the food was meh and the service was terrible. I went though because a friend chose it for her birthday dinner. I was pleasantly surprised! FOOD: We started with a brussle sprout appetizer. For my entree I went with fig and prosciutto pizza. Delicious. Others had the salad and added salmon. Another had pasta bolognese. And another had the fish tacos. No complaints and everyone enjoyed their meal. For dessert the group ordered: crème brûlée, carrot cake, flourless chocolate cake, and new orleana bread pudding. All were delicious. One of the best bread puddings I 've had anywhere. DRINKS: I had a bourbon pear cocktail called brulee 'd peartini I thought brûlée referred to a flavor profile but it was actual FIRE. Fun! And delicious. SERVICE: Our waitress was Kyleigh and she did a great job. Timely. No missed orders. Pleasant. Definitely great service for our group of 6. AMBIANCE: casual elegant. Could go after work or on a date night but no need to dress formally. It was clean. Quiet enough to hear conversation.
Made a reservation for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night and when we arrived and were seated they let us know they were not serving any pizza that evening because the chimney was being cleaned. The $45 steak was charred and flavorless. They had martini espresso on menu but when ordered the waitress came back from the bar to say they didn't have the ingredients to make it. Also, the atmosphere of paper on the tables over the cloth is cheap looking and lazy to switch out for the next guests. We were extremely disappointed on our birthday dinner out.
Absolute worst experience at a restaurant ever. Service was terrible. Dinner was over an hour and a 1/2 late. And no apologies or compensation. The food was not worth the Wait.
Went for our 1 year wedding anniversary after dining here a few months back and had a great dinner experience. Last night, first round of drinks, bread and Brussel sprouts appetizer were great. Then came the salad which they forgot to put my chicken in with it. No hustle to tell the kitchen about the chicken, I was half way done with my salad before it got there. My pizza was burnt, my husband's $42 filet was over-cooked. Had to get up and walk over to the host to tell our sever we needed more drinks, boxes for our food and a dessert menu. They were flirting with the bartender and watching the Pats... even apologized for being distracted yet... no problem dropping the $200 bill. I have no problem with the price but to pair that such poor service is an insult. I tended bar and waited table for yearrrrs while in school, there's no excuse, especially on a slow Sunday night.
We are not novices when it comes to restaurants so when I sat that this establishment is great, I really mean it. We had Brussel spouts and chopped salad, my husband had wild mushroom ravioli and I had the masaman curry. The bread pudding was outstanding. Please don’t hesitate to come.
