Olde Main Brewing Company - Ames

We had a cozy table where we could easily talk with each other. The food was delicious (we had the Sunday brunch), but I wished that there was more fruit to choose from. In comparison to other brunches in the area, this one is a bit pricey ... but the atmosphere is great!

Server was fantastic! Food was great. The portion size of the smoked Mac n cheese could have been larger. Great overall experience. First time there but will be back.

The Easter brunch was disappointing. We arrived towards the end of brunch hours but still had to pay full price. There was no prime rib or salmon left, and the broccoli and potatoes were dried out. The donuts were more like bagels with frosting. The grilled cheese bar was a fun option for my family, but I didn't care for the thick Texas bread. The made-to-order omelets were good, but the chef didn't follow the order exactly. Additionally, his attire was more suited for a skatepark than a restaurant. Overall, the meal consisted of an expensive piece of ham, chunks of cheese, an omelet, tomato soup, and miniature pieces of carrot cake. The experience was not worth the $26 price tag, and my family shares the same sentiment. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

My family went to Olde Main for dinner on Easter Sunday. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. One of us ordered a steak sandwich cooked to medium well, but it came out very rare. The waitress kindly offered to have it cooked more or order a new meal. We had a great experience at Olde Main and enjoyed our time there.

W will try the Sunday brunch again but the Easter brunch was over priced and underwhelming. They were not prepared for the crowd.
