Cookie's Soul Food Kitchen - Ames

We ate cookies for the first time yesterday, but believe me that it will not be our only time to eat here. The food was amazing from this world. The season was perfect. The staff was so friendly and made us so welcome. We are looking forward to having lunch with these amazing friendly people.

Very good house kitchen. The inflation has the prices on $16 for all you can eat dune-in. Great old fashion roasted chicken like my grandmother made earlier. Forget to try the pork chops. Chickens and dumplings were very good. Good choice of deserts too. Friendly staff.

The first time for me. I got away every day. just never stopped. So I'm not STOP! Large house cooked meals. Only the thing is the only lunch 11 ta 2 many customers. This doesn't matter without waiting, serve yourself and it was good So If yours to stop and enjoy their place at this time.

Absolutely delicious soul food... All you can eat buffet that you so full you want nothing for the rest of the day... The service is excellent. You are always ready to remove your empty plate and refill drinks!!! Everyone is so friendly that you feel at home... It is worth the price you pay!!!

Great home cooked food. Fried pork chops, chicken and dumplings plus some really good white beans, and other sides. I thought it could not get any better and then I had the best homemade pecan pie I've ever had. I will be back.
