Cafe du Chateau - Amboise

I was not expecting good food in a tourist attraction but we were hungry and didnt want to go out searching for something.

This is a small place with few tables and spirited service The choices are limited but very good.

Fantastic placeLocally sourced eggs and meat Delicious galletes and rillon (roasted pork belly, a local specialty) served in a salad.

Stopped here for a drink to people watch outside the Chateau. Drinks are pricey but similar costs to adjacent establishments.

The wait staff were especially warm and friendly. We got pizza to go because we had to be in another town by a certain time. The pizza was great and hit the spot!
