The Sour Dough Pizza Company

The pizzas here are fantastic! We ordered 50 pizzas for an event, and they delivered them in two batches, all piping hot and absolutely delicious. The tangy teigbrot was also a treat. We ordered 50 of the same pizza—the Good Life Veggie—and 5 vegan pizzas. I was so relieved that everyone loved them. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to detail as well. I will definitely order pizza from them again when I’m back in Ambleside. Thanks, Lisa and team!

I placed an order for 12 pizzas, and the delivery guy was really friendly and funny. Less than an hour later, the pizzas arrived hot and fresh, and they tasted fantastic! The menu is excellent, there are plenty of choices, and the prices are great. Overall, it was a perfect experience.

We have two family members with allergies, one of whom is allergic to milk. When we informed the staff, they prepared a pepperoni pizza with vegan cheese for us, and one of the cooks assured us he would wash all the utensils before cooking, without us even having to ask! The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. It's a very allergy-friendly place, and they even have a water bowl outside for dogs. When will they open a second location? Cameron, Glasgow.

It was recommended to have this take restaurant desperate to have pizza. we decided to take away, it didn't disappoint. the choice was great, tried something I didn't have on a pizza (moo n blue) it was delicious. base was perfect. the whole family was very impressed. would be highly recommended.

Loved their pizza during our stay in Ambleside , we didn't have many food options in the town for our son so we thought let's give this a go, and he absolutely loved the pulled pork pizza, loved it so much so he had to try the steak one next day and its equally good as well. Importantly parking wasn't a faff compared with other takeaway options in town.
