The cocktails were fantastic, and he was amazing. Unfortunately, all tips were shared among staff, so we couldn't specifically tip him. The food was overall excellent, beautifully presented and hot. The pie was incredible, and the chef deserves recognition. However, the dessert was disappointing. The cheese board was subpar for the price, and the tiramisu wasn't to my taste. The sponge pudding was dry and cold, and the custard was watery, likely due to waiting too long before being served. In terms of service, it was severely lacking. We were left to fend for ourselves, not asked if we wanted drinks or how the food was. The wait between courses was unacceptable, with long delays throughout the meal. Other tables were also unhappy, with one giving up on dessert and receiving free drinks as compensation. As someone in the restaurant industry myself, I understand the importance of customer satisfaction. The lack of service at this establishment overshadowed the amazing food and cocktails. Overall, the food was excellent, but the poor service has deterred us from returning. It's a shame, as this place has great potential if they improve their service.
We went to the restaurant for dinner and were left waiting at the bar for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement. I had to get the waitress's attention to let her know we had a reservation. She then led us to a table that was not set. Our drinks arrived promptly, but we were left waiting with the menu for about 30 minutes before I had to get up and ask someone to take our order. It felt like we were being ignored. After a long wait, our main dishes took another 45 minutes to arrive. We were close to leaving. The breakfast included with our stay was also disappointing. There were no cereals or fresh fruits, just 2 cold cinnamon swirls. When I asked for a croissant, I was told it would take 20 minutes to bake, even though they were not homemade. We had to request tea and coffee refills, and my boyfriend didn't even have a cup or cutlery on the table initially. His full English breakfast was subpar, with undercooked eggs, low-quality sausage, and only half a black pudding. I ordered eggs benedict, but the overpowering scent of the hollandaise sauce made me feel nauseous. The ham was too thick and fatty, and the poached eggs were undercooked. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she dismissed my concerns and did not offer an alternative. Overall, it was a very poor experience with terrible service. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

Embarrassed is an understatement after visiting this place previously and having a lovely meal I suggested to some friends that we should go for a Sunday dinner well how wrong was I the service was terrible but the food was worse I had the beef dinner the mash was cold the meat wasn’t cooked and the veg was raw I was so embarrassed to of suggested the place will definitely not be returning
Excellent experience and beautiful food from the restaurant fork furrow the staff were amazing. It had good vibes
