Alien Cafe - Amargosa Valley

My husband and I were famished after a long day of hiking, and Daddy D's Rocket Diner was the only place open in the area serving food at that time of night. You can enter through the Alien Travel Center or park near the brothel and use a separate door to enter the diner. The menu features dishes named after local brothels and people, such as the Johnny Buss Lakers BLT ($7.99) where you can choose your bread (I chose sourdough). The BLT was actually quite delicious. It was odd that the sandwiches and burgers did not come with a side, but you could add fries or onion rings for an extra $1.99. Both my husband and I ordered onion rings, but I received fries instead. When I mentioned this to the server, she apologized but said they were closing soon and couldn't make the rings to replace the mistake. The fries were not very hot, and while the rings were frozen before being fried, they did taste good. I also ordered a side of ranch, which had a strong vinegar flavor. My husband's patty melt burger was burnt on the outside. Drinks were $2.49 each with free refills offered. The interior was clean and had a classic diner feel, complete with UFO and alien posters. There were definitely some hits and misses at this place. Overall, it's decent if you're in the area and need something to eat, especially late at night when many other restaurants are closed. However, it's not worth going out of your way for.

The service at this restaurant was disrespectful, and the food was inedible. The restroom facilities were dirty and had a strong odor. It's disappointing to see this place go to waste, as it has the potential to be a popular tourist spot. It's especially surprising coming from someone who aspires to become a Nevada assemblyman.

Staff is very nice. Food is amazing !! Best roadside sandwich I've ever had. You can tell how much love they put in the food. Recommend! Don't miss out on a delicious meal.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip to get out of the noise of the city. We came across this Ah-MAZINGGG tasting restaurant in the middle of no where. My boyfriend ordered the grilled cheese sandwich but he was able to customized the sandwich by adding pull pork and I had ordered the BLT with fries and we both agreed that both meals was not only amazing and flavorful but also made with such love. If you are in the area please stop by and order yourself a grilled cheese with pull pork... you won't regret it!!!!
