The Phoenix - Altoona

Absolutely wonderful. Had the salmon with crab, shrimp and scallops. Melt in your mouth delicious...can 't say enough about the beet salad. Totally unique in presentation and taste. Shared with others who agreed it is deliciously flavored in a balsamic dressing. Had the sweetest, cutest server ever named 'Carley '. Was spot on with her knowledge of menu and was on top of giving us great service and attention. Will certainly put the Phoenix on the top of our restaurant pics.

Great food and ambience. The decor was nice. Staff was very courteous and helpful when asked about food items. Only downside, staff was standing in the dining area talking and joking loudly. It is a bar as well, but still, a little restraint. All in all, very nice and well worth the stop.

Love their home made italian menu. We go 1 time a month when we have time. Only a couple great places in altoona to find this type of food and i recommend stopping in. Its worth the extra .oney to take out wife or girlfriend...

The decor is elegant, well-lit, and inviting. We enjoyed dinner with friends who have dietary restrictions, and the chef was incredibly accommodating. Every dish they received was not only tasty but also artfully presented. I would give this restaurant a five-star rating.

Exceptional service, ambiance, music, and food! We were pleasantly surprised when the chef came to greet us at our table. My husband ordered the Grilled Tuna served with Risotto and a Vegetable Medley, while I enjoyed the Chicken Pot Pie accompanied by a Caesar Salad. Both dishes were absolutely delightful. We will definitely return!
