Barra Fish Chips - Altona Meadows

I drive all the way from point cook for this fish and chips. The fish is so succulently cooked. Never tasting rubbery or stale like other fish and chipperies around here. Burgers are solid and they sometimes chuck in a free potato cake. Love it! Will definitely be back.

Best In the West. Finally a good Fish and Chip shop! The hamburgers are great, tried the souvlaki we had lamb and it was delish. The serving of minumum of chips is quite big and the chips with chicken salt....yummo. The flake is beautiful, i am a happy camper and I highly recommend this fish and chip shop. The staff are friendly the food is great : They have eftpos as well, bonus!

Wow!! Best fish chips we have had! Flake was so thick and lovely! Chips potato cakes cooked to perfection! We have a new favourite fish chip shop!

After reading such great reviews, had to try it for myself. I was not disappointed. The fish chips here are definately great quality and yummy. They are cooked perfect not oily at all.. Our family really enjoyed our fish n' chips this place will definately be our local now.

WOW , went with a livingsocial voucher for a family meal, got 4 Fantastic Flakes, 4 Fantastic Dim sim's and 4 Fantastic potatoe cakes, after eating them we opened the chips bag and we saw a HUGE amount of greatly cooked chips which we couldn't eat ... we did eat a few and they too were Fantastic ... Well done guys and keep up the great work. Place is clean and great service by all in the shop,Back again for sure
