Bidrage med feedbackIn general as an evening program at a meeting in altötting I had the pleasure of being able to participate in a visit to the brewery “Graminger Weissbräu” with subsequent beer tasting and dinner. “dry” sessions can also be held in such a “moist” frame program. if a beer sample is already offered, I would like to go to eat not only, but above all to the beer – sometimes a bit different gastrocritic. the brewery “Graminger Weissbräu” is a very small private brewery in altötting. if I remember correctly, the annual production is approx. 30,000 liter bier, with gramminger specialized in obergärige bier. originally the brewery was a forge. at any place came the hufschmied to offer the idea, the farmers themselves bred beer, while waiting for the beats of their animals. that must have done so much that an independent brewery was created. by the brewmaster we were led through the brewery. the stretch to be covered was very limited, however, as it is a rather small brewery, as already mentioned, and the whole brewery is found loose in a one-family house. the guide was performed with a lot of charm and sweat by the brewmaster, so it became an entertaining and yet very informative event. a biersonde with a deft, Bavarian kitchen, followed by it in the neighboring brewgasthof, where the tasting of the beer, which was already produced by all participants, was carried out. for a wine it tasted astonishingly crumbled, the hop content was quite high. it tasted not thin, but like a real white beer. followed a normal white beer with a alcohol content of 5.2 already in the glass was the beer with its rather dark color reminded of bernstein a joy. here too was the bitter of the hops to taste clearly, but also the yeast was very present. one, for my taste, very good white beer. then a dark white bee came into the series. as usual with dark beers, here the bitter of the hops is displaced by the malzaroma, it tastes somewhat sweeter than the bright white beer. but by no means unpleasant sweet as another dark beer. to the conclusion there was a Gramminger spirit, a dark weinkock with 6.8 alcohol content. here the malt and redstaroms are very strong in the foreground. for my taste a beer, from which in the meantime a bottle is quite interesting, but that won't be my master. the beacon has shown that even – or in particular – small breweries can brew an excellent beer. as the brewer himself admitted, tastes slightly different in the opposite to the big brewery each sud, but this also makes the joy of a small brewery. ah yes, it is also mentioned at this place. in bowls placed on a saucer with tealights to keep warm, pork, grilled pork, creamy and potato dumplings were served. the whole thing was dressed on sweet, mainly carrots and carrots. therefore a typical Bavarian house kitchen, suitable for a brewery industry and a beer tasting. is not necessarily my case, so I also saved, but the rest has tasted very well. above all the wonderfully soft and well seasoned porridge must be mentioned praiseworthy, as well as the very powerful sauce. the restaurant is worth using only fresh products from local farming. environs are still a few sets for the economy itself: the brewhouse offers several dining rooms that are also suitable for larger events. the rooms are rustic, but friendly furnished and lovingly furnished. for the warmer season there is also a beer garden with view of altötting. everything works very clean, especially the seemingly newly renovated sanitary facilities. recommended the only drop of wormwood: unfortunately I rarely come to oldötting, and therefore probably for laaaaange time no longer in grammingerbräu. at least before I came home, but I loaded a box gramminger white beer into the car. now I hope that we can make the early part so slow and I can enjoy it on our terrace with a bright sunshine. Otherwise, I can recommend the economy for those who love an honest, sweet beer and a hearty Bavarian cuisine.
