Hotel Zur Post - Altenahr

Renounce small food portions and high prices. Eat well cooked and has a large wine list. Staff very unfriendly.

We visited the restaurant and food was bad. Decoration of plates is it in the 90s (funny carrot cuts? . Eating itself was Bland, Schinitzel was so oily and ravioli swimming in a thick fat sauce. Desert was also npthing special, we have a kind of mix-dress with a nuclear-green tasteless jelly and a few chocolate pudding. About us

I had dinner at this restaurant during my stay in Altenahr in August 2015. The food was beautiful without being spectacular. The service was similarly good without being brilliant. My general feeling for this place was that it is an average restaurant that could do a...small better on the quality of food and service. I ate elsewhere at my second night and had a much better experience (see my other review of this place).

Wir hatten ein Arrangement für die 4 Tage und waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen. Täglich gab es eine Suppe, zwei Sorten Fleisch. Beilagen und Gemüse. Auch wurde zweierlei Dessert aufgetischt. Die Getränkekarte war umfangreich, und es war für jeden was dabei.Als Tipp nur mal so: Bei den Salaten wäre es schön, wenn ein Zettel dabei wäre, um was es sich handelt.Ansonsten war alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit.
