Pizzeria Decalycanto - Altea

Well, we went out as a group of 11 people. First night in the busy town, everywhere was busy. Stumbled across this place, wish we had never bothered. Ordered Mostly pizza, couple of steaks, at best, average. The service is the main cause for concern. After waiting for 15-20 mins, the main course arrived, apart from mine and the future son in laws, we thought fine, it was busy, will soon be here. After another 10 minutes, we caught their attention, to see what was wrong. So sorry, it will be another 5 mins! They had read the order wrong!! So 10 minutes later, the son in laws came out, minus mine. By this time, everyone had finished, I was rather annoyed to say the least. Then this obnoxious guy comes over, saying it’s not his fault, we’re busy, would you like it now as a takeaway!! By the way still another 10 minutes! To cut the story short, the waiter tried to pacify me with another pint, food eventually turned up and no ,it wasn’t worth the wait. Then, the bill!! Service charge wasn’t mentioned) food wasn’t cheap, but we saw the price, fair enough, but €8.50 per warm pint! Places like this need highlighting, as these prices give the area a bad name. Every restaurant since I mentioned it to couldn’t believe it. Before you ask, apart from a wine list there were no prices given to us to check prior. Everywhere in Altea we have been since to eat out, fantastic

The food was delicious,our kids had pasta and fish.The sea bass loved them .The restaurant also had a large selection of fine wines

First visit to this Italian restaurant and the last. Pasta was uninspiring, did not seem fresh in the slightest. They're tight on chips, very small portions of chips. The worst bit of the entire meal though was the sea bass. Full of bones making it really hard work to eat... The service was also poor. Very slow and were not bothered about our displeasure. Added on 3 euros for it as well! So many better places in Altea...

Fomos reservas de pecado y tuvimos mesa de milagro, pero el mayor milagro fueron las vista que pudimos disfrutar está situado no azotea del restaurante, a un lado la arquitetura preciosa del casco antiguo y al otro, la playa.

Pizzeri situado en el corazón del centro histórico de Altea. Desde la terraza interior arriba se puede ver la iglesia y el mar, con la cual, la cena con estas vistas es inmejorable. la atención de los excelentes camareros y las pizzas buenas. totalmente recomendado.
