Omaha Steakhouse Orlando

Anyone who rated this place higher than two stars likely began their experience with the two complimentary drinks from the bar. Perhaps the name should be changed to set more realistic expectations for diners.

Excellent food and services. I had the grilled salmon. Tasty.

Had a very tasty meal here with my mother a week ago. We began with the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which was good-sized and a great start to the meal. For our entrees, I had the sirloin steak and she had the petite filet mignon, both cooked perfectly (medium-rare, see photos). In addition, the mashed potatoes that come standard with every steak were plentiful and yummy. To complete the meal, we ordered the creme brulee to-go since we were full from everything else. The only reason for not giving a perfect 5 ? 's was that the restaurant staff tended to disappear all at once at varying times which was odd especially if you were in need of something. In all, everything was great, and we would definitely eat here again.

We visited the hotel restaurant, expecting it to be just average like many chain places. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic flavors of both dishes. The taste profiles were exceptional, and the service was quite decent.

During our stay at the Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs, FL, where the Omaha Steaks restaurant is located, we encountered a challenging situation due to Hurricane Ina. The experience was quite frustrating as the restaurant was only able to accommodate a limited number of guests because of the staff shortage. Unfortunately, we were unable to access the restaurant at all. With flooding and power outages affecting the area, all other restaurants were closed, leaving us to rely on snacks. I suggest that the restaurant consider offering a soup and sandwich buffet during such emergencies to ensure that everyone is fed at a reasonable price. Mr. Colon, the hotel manager, supports this idea.
