Come Take It Bbq - Alpine

This BBQ spot is our favorite in Texas! The restaurant is situated on the western side of the Alps, nestled in the desert and framed by the mountains. The smoky flavor is spot on, and the spices enhance every cut of meat. I tried the regular sausage, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken, and each was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere felt authentically Texan, and the place was impeccably clean. The hosts and staff were very pleasant and friendly. It was a fantastic evening enjoying BBQ in true Texas style!

Food service. What more do you want from a restaurant? They deliver in spades, you will not be disappointed. Service was Johnny on the spot. We had the brisket, pulled pork, burger, potato salad and ranch beans. ALL rocked! Plenty of seating, a bar and a stage. Think there may be outdoor seating as well, but it is in the low 30s, so we are staying inside! Bathroom is clean and well kept. The place is a bit off the road, so look for the ?BBQ? sign and you can see the building back a bit. Bonus: Big Bend Brewing is just a quarter mile down the road.

My husband and I come all the way from El Paso, Texas to Alpine and discovered this delicious gem on one of our weekends there. I wish I could give 5 stars but it was extremely disappointing to travel to Alpine one weekend to discover that they no longerserve lunch on Saturdays. The hours are so inconvenient. My husband is a student at Sul Ross but only attends on Saturdays whenthey meet and end early before the dinner starts there. Nonetheless, the food is delicious and is why we looked forward togoing but were left with our mouths salivating to know that lunch is no more.

The smokey flavour is perfect and the spices enhance each cut and type of meat. I had the normal sausage, the pulledpork, the ribs and chicken. All cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was truly Texan and immaculately clean. Host and staffextremely pleasant and welcoming. Way to go for such a wonderful BBQ Texas style evening.

This is some of the best barbecue I've ever tasted! The ranch beans are absolutely the best I've ever had! Yum!
