Lai Huat Curry Mee - Alor Setar

My must visit kopitiam whenever I 'm at Alor Setar alongside the next door kopitiam besides Ukir Mall. Best curry mee in Alor Setar. Creamy broth, juicy cockles and the 'sambal ' are simply the best. The portion are generous enough to fill your tummy and satisfy your appetite. There is also Nasi Padang stall within the kopitiam, with various choice of dishes, though honestly the taste has reduce a bit nowadays, but still taste quite delicious.

This is a place i used to visit with my parents. They love the nasi padang here. 20 years later, I'm surprised it's still here. Tapau few stuff and it's just as good as i remembered. The perut masak padang is so good. Slightly sweet spicy, the beef tripe is super soft tender. Delicious, creamy. Also ordered rendang daging. It's very coconut-ey. I assume got lots of kerisik. Very nice. Not too spicy. Also tapau gulai daging rebung. Really good. There's alot more dishes i didn't try. Will come again whenever i visit Kedah. Also didn't get to try the curry mee. Next time. Definitely recommend the nasi padang.
