Tranquilo y limpio.
Isabella at the reception made us feel so welcome, that our 2 night stay turned into a bliss 8 night stay. This is a Oasis of beauty and cannot wait to return. The bar/restaurant staff brilliant Food basic but clean, tasty and fresh made Chips ro die for
We visited during lunch after touring the Pere Ventura Cava. It's located near a grape vineyard, with plenty of parking in the back. It was a great place to enjoy the local food of that region. Everything is simply made as if you were in a family gathering. I found it to be very comforting. It's a place where residents go for family celebrations. We didn't see a single tourist in the restaurant (except for us). I was so happy that our tour guide brought us to this lovely restaurant. It was quite an experience deciding what to order since they had no menus in English. He was very helpful in translating it to us. We decided to make selections from their daily Pre Fixe menu. I didn't see the calcots that day (maybe they weren't in season). I so wish that we could have tasted them. We placed our order, and then they brought out the traditional Catalan bread. I noticed that they didn't add the tomato to the bread like most places do in Barcelona. Instead, they served it the way you would get it as if eating at someone's house. The fresh tomato, garlic cloves, and olive oil were brought out separately so that you can make it yourself. That was kind of cool. Our guide showed us how to prepare it, so we learned something new. Now for the meal. I had the salad with the cod, tuna, and anchovies. It had a very tasty mayo-based dressing. It was a very good size, and it could have been my main meal. I couldn't eat it all because I needed to save room for the duck. The duck was served in a small caldero with a reduction of prunes. It was very tender and sweet. I normally like it to be more savory, but it was still very good prepared the way it was. For dessert, I had the crema de limon with a cup of espresso. It was all very good. I could definitely taste a bit of fresh grated lemon, and it was very creamy. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a true Catalan experience. It was the perfect ending to our day trip in the Cava region.
Is a very nice campsite, facing the beach and with very good views, the bungalows are of a considerable size and are quite clean, I recommend
