Beach Bar - Almancil

A relaxed beach bar/restaurant with toilets and showers, friendly service, good portions with simple tasty dishes. Visited here 4 times over the week, good music, what’s not to like! Recommended and reasonable prices for this part of the world.

We love it in here be it for take away drinks on the beach, a quick bite to eat or the thing we do the most, sundowners watching the sunset. The Staff are fun and friendly and obviously enjoy working there, there is a great...chilled yet party like atmosphere which I appreciate doesn't make sense but if you go you will know what I mean! The location is perfect for watching the sunset with the sand between your toes and the drinks are fantastic and flow very well.

We had our last lunchtime in Vale do Lobo before having to return home after an amazing 9 nights. We had been to the Beach bar for a real cold beer the previous week which was great so we thought we would give it a...go for the last meal as it was showing the F1 on large screens a real bonus (for me at least !! . We ordered a couple of soft drinks ordered a chicken burger the beach burger thinking as it had the name of the establishment should be a safe bet !. Whilst the chicken burger was decent the beach burger was the basic of basic cheap burgers tasted as such as well, like blooming cardboard. I suppose you get what you pay for ?. The venue itself is in an amazing location being virtually on top of the beach the outside area with the chilled out seating is a real draw shame that the food just didn't match the location .

On the beach, great food, recommend Chicken Piri Piri, Brie Pear salad, wings, panko prawns. Lovely helpful staff, good music, Easy 5 stars
