We asked around and were told that the Tides was the best place in Alma to get fish and chips We were not disappointed.

We had a great dining experience at The Tides. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with a friendly and attentive staff. The terrace had a nice view of the water and was shaded. The food was delicious, high quality, and plentiful.

SMALL servings. Smallest seafood platter in the Maritimes. Waitress said it was big enough to share...nope! Barely big enough for 1 Apparently you don 't get more fries when you order 'All You Can Eat Fish Chips ' special, just fish?! All 3 orders of fish...were different. We had to go somewhere to get more food after.

We had both great mealtime seafood cahowder and scallops. beautiful view of the good service.
