Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant came highly recommended by friends for the best seafood chowder in the area. Other locals seem to agree. We enjoyed their Caesar salad too.
We came here on a tour that we took through the Hopewell Rocks and Bay of Fundy. Between my friend and I, we had the seafood chowder and ceasar salad. I'm pretty sure that those were two of the only gluten-free options that they had (which is fine), but I found the food to be just average (nothing special). It was also more on the pricey side.
I came here with my family for lunch today, and we all ordered variations of the mini dinners. The shrimp/scallops came in a tiny portion - I literally got 6 small sautéed scallops on my plate with a ton of fries. It was basically like I ordered a plate of fries with a side of scallops, and we each paid $14-15 for our plates. On the bright side, our server was nice and we were so hungry that we would've eaten anything at that point. This was the only restaurant we could find in Alma that was open before 11:30am which is the reason we went.
This small, unassuming restaurant is tucked away among several touristy spots. The seafood chowder was the best I've ever had.
Au déjeuner, très bon service et bonne nourriture. Au lunch, service très ordinaire. Nourriture froide.
