Mala - Allston

[5/5, Allston, MA] Do you look at the size of the bowl? $40 for the bowl. For the first time in my life, I wish a mala spicy pot had more vegetables. The lamb shoots and Squid Skewers were amazing to order! The szechuan chicken was spicy and crispy. I'll be back.

Oh her mala hot pot is a must to try. It goes to food and never disappoints. Definitely a must to visit when in Boston.

In this place with a friend who introduced me into various elements on the menu. If you are not Chinese, I can recommend some dishes on the menu that are good. Try the kung pao chicken, Mala dry pot, Schezwan spicy cold noodle, mantou (my fav). Loved the spice of food. In any case, try a lot from the menu. I'll go back and explore them. No need for reservations, but it can be quite busy on weekends.

Really delicious and spicy (good spicy)!! The Dan Dan noodles were amazing, and so was Kung Pao chicken! I'll be back to try the Mala Pot.

This place is fantastic... the food is delicious in every way and the service was fast and friendly. We had such a good meal that when we finished we ordered more food to go so we could enjoy it again tomorrow. We will be back ASAP. Best Dan Dan noodles I've had in 10+ years. We ordered our standard Sichuan choices but will definitely dig deeper into the menu next time and can't wait to try the hot pot. All of the staff were great and the online waitlist and menu system worked so well. Love this place
