Bidrage med feedbackThis place is an absolute BANGER. You know a Chinese place is legit if its no frills; the waitresses are curt, theres only 6ish tables, and you go get your own water/utensils.The cumin lamb biang biang noodle is the perfect bowl for a winter day spicy, savory, with a good meat to noodle ratio. The noodles had a perfect texture, bouncy and just the right amount of chew. The lamb was also tender! PS. get the lamb skewers too, cuz its even more juicy.Lanzhou fresh noodles is def comparable, if not better than NYCs xian famous foods. However, the waitresses aren't very good at understanding english, so if you have allergies, there will be a hard time for accommodations. DONT BE RACIST.
So sad it's closed. Was my favorite noodle spot in Allston! Hopefully they'll be back. I'll be one of the first ones back if/when they reopen.
Went here for dinner with a couple friends. I had the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and shared a Steamed Chicken with Chili Sauce which I thought were really good for the price. The food here was authentic, and extremely affordable. Good definitely go again!
This place has very flavor packed punch with its noodles. The cumin lamb biang biang noodles are awesome. All of their noodle dishes pretty good. But don’t forget the chongqing chicken with chili peppers a great item. If I had any complaints for 18$ seems a little small in portion size and there are bones to pick out but still delicious.
Ordered serval noodles and Sichuan fish fillet with preserved vegetable. Lanzhou beef noodle is good, others are okay but not good.
