Melbreak Country House - Allerdale

We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate my sister and brother-in-law's Pearl Wedding Anniversary. We had been here before, and just like our last visit, everything was excellent in every aspect. The staff was friendly, helpful, and happy to serve us. The food for our party of 10 was outstanding with plenty of variety on the menu. The dishes were of a high standard and presented beautifully. We love the atmosphere at this restaurant and the lounge area is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or after-meal coffee or a nightcap. We all had a great time and it made our family celebration perfect. A big thank you to the staff for taking care of us so well, we all appreciated your hard work. We will definitely be coming back until next time.

I went to this charming restaurant last night to celebrate my friend's birthday, it had been a few years since my last visit. My first impressions were positive: the place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We were greeted by a well-dressed young lady who asked if we had a reservation. We arrived early, so we decided to have a drink in the lounge while we waited. We didn't have to wait long before we were seated at our table. I noticed an empty table by the window and asked if we could move there since it was a nice evening. The staff happily accommodated our request. The food was delicious, with the risotto being a standout and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her grilled chicken. We finished off the meal with homemade desserts, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was especially lovely. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I haven't felt this good about a place in a long time. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, dressed neatly in pretty blouses and had lovely smiles. I definitely plan on returning soon!

I went to this restaurant for the first time on a crowded Saturday night. The food and service were both fantastic. The prices were affordable considering the quality of the food. I definitely plan on coming back again in the future.

Family celebration dinner for a 70th birthday. Totally recommend the restaurant for the wonderful service and delicious food we received. Staff very very helpful when we were making our booking.

I definitely suggest this restaurant for all people in the lake district it has delicious gluten-free and vegetarian 6 the service was lovely and they assisted you when you needed.
