Cold Stone Creamery - Allen

I picked up the midnight cake today and it was decadent! I love her chocolate ice cream. the only thing I would recommend is to order the cake online, because it is $10 less (24.99 for the little round.) do not do what I have done and get it in the load $10 more!

I really enjoy Coldstone, the ice cream is always delicious. However, in the past few months, I have had the same issue multiple times where I have requested frosting in my cake batter ice cream and instead received whipped cream. This has happened no matter if I order online or in person, and specify that I want frosting. It would be helpful if the toppings were labeled so the staff can easily differentiate between them.

Make sure to verify couple of times the price of cake before you place a order by phone other wise they charge you more and will not refund your money even you show the proof. Also make sure to take a reciept from them for what you order. The Manager at that place says they will call you back but never called back.This is what happened to me. I ordered a custom Small cake and picked it ontime but I forgot and didn't pay at the time of pick up. So i called back to the creamery and gave my credit card details thinking that they will charge only for what I ordered. But they charged me price of Large Cake even I took small cake, which I came to know seeing my credit card statement. I went to the store explained my situation to them and showed the proof. They said their main manager will call in a day to me to give refund but never called. So i called them again next day and got same response that their manager will call back but no one called. So I called the credit card services.

I absolutely adore the variety of ice cream flavors and ice cream cakes at this restaurant. I couldn't resist trying the chocolate-coffee shakes as well, and they were delicious! My only suggestion for improvement would be for the staff to greet customers with a smile to enhance the overall experience.

So disappointed with this Allen location. Both times we've gone there in the past two weeks we're awful! There's nothing but kids working there...the ice cream slabs aren't cleaned in between orders there was chocolate mixed in with my sorbet. The girl apologized and I watched her get a new bowl and new sppond to scoop new sorbet for me. We sat outside eating it only to find something else in the middle of it. Not sure what it was but I threw it out and left. Not a clean restaurant at all!
