Bidrage med feedbackDespite its old and poorly maintained structure, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting for its delicious food. It is one of the oldest coffee outlets in India.
Beautiful small place to breakfast. doesn't look like much, but eating is good. try the ei masala dosa, it is delicious. the coffee is filter coffee; better than the instant stuff they serve at most places.
We were disappointed with our recent dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered dosa, pakoda, and coffee for the family, but none of the dishes lived up to our expectations in terms of quality and taste. As natives of Karnataka, where we regularly enjoy these dishes, we found them to be lacking compared to what we can easily find at a local street restaurant. We recommend providing the cook with training in preparing a wider variety of South Indian foods to improve the overall dining experience.
Whenever I go to Allahabad, I always make it a point to visit Indian Coffee House. My favorites are the masala dosa and cold coffee, which I always order. The idli, vada, and roohafza are also quite good. The service can be a bit slow, but sitting in the family area enhances the overall experience. The prices are very affordable. The sambar and chutney are excellent and better than other places in the city.
One thing for sure u can’t find a better coffee than here in Allahabad. And an awsum place with friends to sip on coffee with.
