Óporco - Alijo

On our first evening in Pinhao I was perturbed to find that most of the bars closed, so was relieved to find O-Por-co open. My heart sank however when the beer tap gurgled its last just as we ordered and the barmaid advised that there was none left. Fortunately we found a bar across the road that was open, but I must say that my first impressions of Pinhao were very negative. The following evening, everything was open and I had to laugh when the barmaid gave me a cheeky smile and assured me that she had some beer on tap. This is a nice, simple bar that is clearly a favourite “local” pub. The atmosphere was friendly, the service was lovely and the beer is certainly very good when you can get it!

We stopped to have a quick tapas meal after the beautiful boat trip and it was the best idea we could've had. Very nice place, very nice staff, really cool vibe and the best of all very tasty cheese, ham, olives, wine...Loved the bread. We highly recommend.

Nice traditional tapas bar with a great selection of salads and platters made to order behind the bar. Plus a good choice of wine as you would expect from a bar in Pinhao.

Amazing staff! Really friendly and friendly! Great food. Nice Presunto. We had piplet (it is a beautiful board of smoked ham, salami, and 2 types of cheese) and the salad of piglets (letter, cherry tomatoes, kajus, dried banana slices, rocket, raisins and balsimico) and both were really delicious. BTW, we were four people. Totally recommended!

Great wines, food and other drinks. Extremely good mood and atmosphere.
