Vale - Alicante

We all had pizza and salad for our lunch, the pizzas were really nice, very thin and lots of topping. This restaurant is in a great position, just off the beach. Good quick service. Would return.

My wife and I have visited Vale several times. This unpretentious restaurant is tucked away in the residential area of Playa de San Juan. At the weekend be well advised to book a table there as it is usually crowded, especially in the summer. Also be prepared for a long wait. Expect to spend at least two hours over lunch. However, the wait is worth it as the typical Spanish family atmosphere is entertaining and the food is superb. The establishment specialises in rices. We have tried the rabbit and snails one last time. The Banda rice is one of the best I have ever had! The service is efficient and friendly and as you wait you can try the limited wine list and try some other starters.

Absolutely delicious. They have great rices and paellas, all cooked to order on site. The fish and seafood are very fresh. The only thing is that finding the restaurante can be a bit hard, it's hidden behind others, but just ask around.

Sitio interesante, pero con peros.... Atención de camareros EXCELENTE , pero el dueño les quita las propinas con los precios de bebidas y pan... Sobre todo esté último: pan del día anterior de la peor calidad, recalentado y al que le ponen unos cuenquitos de tomate y Alí Oli: 1,75 por persona... Mesa de seis personas a 2 cachitos cada uno ... 10€ de pan UN ATRACO. Es una lastima porque echa por tierra la buena labor de cocineros y camareros.

Cómo siempre qué venimos a éste restaurante, el servicio es excelente y la comida riquísima. En esta ocasión nos han recomendado la ensalada de aguacate y el arroz meloso con pulpo, Alcachofa y almejas. Ambas cosas muy ricas . Además el servicio qué nos ha prestado Javi, ha convertido la comida en algo redondo.
