Le Chardo - Alfred

We did not enjoy our meal at this restaurant. The steak was terrible and the waitress showed little concern for our experience. We also visited in July and had breakfast, but the French toast had to be sent back three times as it was always too soggy, similar to the steak.

This breakfast spot was a total letdown. I spent $40 on pancakes and French toast with fruit, and it was absolutely not worth it. I was expecting a quintessential Canadian breakfast, but left feeling very disappointed.

This restaurant offers a great variety of brunch options, from eggs to meat, potatoes, and desserts. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, typical of the city. The staff is bilingual.

Beautiful place for an excellent breakfast between ottawa and montreal! great food and great service. this has been the case since we travel from ottawa to maritime.

Le Chardo is a beautiful restaurent in Alfred, Ontario. The Boss, her wife and their two sons are very nice with every body. Ich midi, they have a save service. The prix is very chip but the quality of the food is very high. So...please pass there. You'll enjoy.
