Cozy Corner - Alexandria

Absolutely wonderful! I was pleasantly surprised by the entire experience at this local gem. The server, who I believe is named Marie-Claude, was delightful and enthusiastic. I ordered the picilia plate and it was truly a fantastic surprise. My friend had the fish and chips and she loved it! Overall, it was an excellent meal, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend trying Cozy Corner!

The food was excellent; I tried a few breakfast dishes and both were delightful. The service was fantastic as well!

"We had an amazing dining experience with friendly staff. I ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce, while my friend got the popcorn chicken. He chose a medium portion, and it was enormous! My pasta was also a generous serving. There was enough food left over for each of us to have another meal. The prices were quite reasonable as well; the spaghetti was $12, and the poutine was $11. Although we live far away, we will definitely stop by again if we’re in the area!"

New in the opposite, we tried breakfast places. we came to cozy corner to taste their breakfast. we came and there is another table occupied. the a waiter work is cleaning tables. Not sure whether we should choose a seat or wait to stay sitting, we try to make eye contact. after a few eyes, please, I should just choose a place and they nods. we'll get a table in the corner, she'll come by and ask if we want menus and we say yes. she leaves and returns with menus and asks if we want coffee. my partner gets a coffee and I have water. she brings her back quickly, which was good and asks if we need time with the menus we have said. they were very simple, simply written on ms word and printed and laminated. but that's good, I'm getting a taste. it was a bit difficult to see which lines, especially in the Omelette section, because the lines were not separated. Anyway, we were both on the same thing, 2 eggs with speck and kartoffeln. she took my order and then is my partner. when he said he would get the same, she laughed somehow and said something along the lines, she hated when the people said that because it is never the same odd. the food came quickly, so we were impressed. but there it stopped. my partner and I usually exchange speck, as I cooked well and he likes his floppy. So we acted and there were no incidents. the speck was either floppy or super burned. I couldn't eat it. the kartoffels were cold, one must sit. they don't taste fresh. Eier were okay and toast was good. the waitress never came to ask us how it was eating or filling coffee/water. she didn't come back at all. we have finished our eggs and toast, and she has not yet come back. we stacked the food together and nothing yet. I got up and wanted to pay. She didn't ask us how it was eating, just gave us total and the machine. I tipped her 5%. I've never tipped that, but the service was not good and the food was not edible. I wouldn't go back.

I’ve tried calling multiple times on multiple occasions to order. The call has never gone through. We like supporting local, small businesses, but kinda hard to do that when no one wants to answer the phone.
