Two pieces of chicken shouldn't cost 6.99 plus tax shaking my head
It's always trial and error going to the Popeye's in Marksville. My last visit was at night and I paid for food I didn't receive but if you don't call right away your name won't be put down and your just out of luck.
The staff at the restaurant was very friendly, but someone in the kitchen didn't provide the options I requested regarding my jalapeño peppers. Kid-friendliness: There is enough space for families with children. Parking: The lot is small but often busy. Wheelchair accessibility: There is designated handicap parking, and it appears to be well-suited for accessibility.
At Popeye's, you usually expect a somewhat shabby and lively atmosphere in exchange for tasty roasted chicken. However, that's not the case at this location in Alexandria. The restaurant is clean, with friendly and efficient service—clearly a reflection of motivated managers who understand the importance of customer service. But the star of the show is the delicious chicken. They even played some smooth Southern music to enhance the ambiance. I’ve stopped at Popeye's in New Orleans and Baton Rouge before, but those locations lacked cleanliness and proper service. This place is definitely worth the wait and the visit!
