Mas Seafood - Alexandria

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, but I was quite disappointed to find that out of the 24 littleneck clams we ordered, 7 were either opened or heavily damaged.

We enjoyed a delicious salmon dish on Christmas Eve! On Christmas Day, we made paella on the grill and bought lobster, shrimp, halibut, and scallops from MAS. We also picked up two whole trouts, which were wonderful when fried in butter, olive oil, garlic, and white wine. Just so you know, we live in Delaware, and while visiting Old Town, we stopped by MAS to shop. The service and quality were excellent!

I ordered a meal featuring salmon scraps and ended up receiving a box of squid ink pasta along with a can of tomatoes. All of this cost me just $20, which is enough for about 3 to 4 meals for me! It was absolutely delicious! I also loved the store's interior, and the staff, who are family-owned, were very friendly. The prices are competitive, and parking isn’t too difficult to find. They definitely have everything you need for pasta and seafood!

This is a real seafood market. I just prepared and ate Katie’s crab cakes. This is my happy review.Easy to prepare, did a little Paula Deane, almost all lump back-fin crabmeat, little filler, celery bits as part of the filler were a wonderful touch, flavor was perfect.Can’t wait for my next MAS crab cake diner.Bruce J.

Great fresh product at reasonable prices. Owners are great and make you feel at home the second you walk in. True asset to the community.have enjoyed seeing this place grow.
