Le Refuge - Alexandria

Reliable for daily food and the perfect place to celebrate the most important special occasions. It is obvious that great care has been taken to ensure that every detail is accurate, from decor to lighting, music and above all food. I went early and have a table, but it's probably a good idea to make a reservation.

Everything was excellent. This old town staple still serves luxurious food made in the traditional haute cuisine style. All 4 of us were blown away by the quality of the food. Excellent service to match. A perfect birthday dinner.

French style well-decorated little restaurant with a wide selection of wines. Nice food and atmosphere.

This is a small, cozy restaurant with a fantastic ambiance. But the most important is that the food is absolutely top-notch! The onion soup, duck pate, duck breast, seafood, everything is incredibly phenomenal. Tastes just like in France. I won't be wrong by saying that not all restaurants in France reach the level of Le Refuge. There's no better French restaurant in the whole DC area. 5 stars all the way!

My wife and I had an absolutely outstanding birthday dinner at Le Refuge. The service was exemplary and the food was some of the finest we've ever experienced. The escargot were amazing as was the leg of lamb my wife enjoyed. My steak a poivre was outstanding as well. Highly recommended!
