Joe Theismann's - Alexandria

Our waiter, John, was exceptionally patient and efficient. We had steaks and burgers and loved them. The noice level was a little loud but other than that I would highly recommend this place. Great location and good service.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Old Town. However, on a Friday night with sports on the TV , it was much too loud for me. I could do without the shouting every time a team scores a point.

Overall a good meal but a few issues. Service was great. Attentive and friendly. The fish and chips were great, and the slaw was as good as I have found in Alexandria. The crab cake was tasty but there was little to no lump. The burger was pretty good, but not great. Prices have gone up in the last few years by quite a bit. I understand that the location has a lot to do with that. So 3.5 to 4 stars. I will certainly come back.

The food and service are always good here! I highly recommend this restaurant!
