Duck Donuts - Alexandria

I've been there twice. The first time took longer than expected, but the staff was working as fast as they could and the donuts were perfect. Second time even better! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Great place, delicious donuts..will be back....maybe you should have the forms at the register and let customers fill them out while they wait.

In short: If you want a tasty donut like one in the photo then find a chance and go. For the maple bacon: made very quickly, fat trimmed off the bacon, and one of if not the best donuts I've had. It was like breakfast in the shape of a donut (minus the eggs).

I am gonna give it a 4, but could argue its a 3. I didn't really enjoy it because of the batter used for the donuts. I prefer a dunking style donut, but these tasted more like a funnel cake batter. But the people I brought really like the place and were shocked on how good the donuts were. So Idk what to make of the place. Give it a shot.

Warm, delicious. Flavors change all the time, but are always able to get your favorites. I had these first in Duck and am so glad I can have a piece of the Outer Banks, whenever I want.
