2 Jefes Tex- Mex - Alexandria

I came here for lunch with some friends because I love. Tex-mex and wanted a margarita. The restaurant is located within a small strip of a few other businesses, however the parking lot is divided by poles, so you'll want to be sure you enter the lot on the same side as the restaurant. When we got there it was pretty quiet which was fine by me. The waiters were very attentive and nice. I started with a passion fruit margarita which was really good. One of my friends got a **** Mary with tequila but didn't like it, take that for what it's worth since she didn't get it with vodka. Chips and salsa come with the table which is nice. My friend ordered queso and chips, I wasn't a fan of the queso, you can probably skip it too. I ordered the lunch tacos carbon with steak. The tacos were really good! The steak was juicy, tender and flavorful. My friends enjoyed their meals as well and had positive reviews. Overall I would definitely come back for more margaritas and the food, just not the queso. This is my go-to place. I've never been disappointed with any food item I ordered. I particularly love the tacos Campesinos and the ceviche. The guac is so fresh and tasty too. Staff is very nice.Dietary restrictions: I have to eat gluten free.

I highly recommend this place. The food is always so fresh. I just tried the soup with chicken. I'd buy it again and again. Customer service is always incredible. You can't go wrong here. Oh yeah...the bar is nice as well.

This place was so disappointing. What a bummer. The food was mediocre at best and soooo unbelievably expensive. The wait staff did not smile once. Our food took a solid half hour to get out, and it was not busy tonight... and the wait wasn't even worth it. This picture is essentially what our dinner experience was like. If the service would have been better OR if the food would have been well seasoned, it would have been a better outcome.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, DEEEEEEEELICIOUS COCKTAILS (mojito and daiquiris) IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!Whoever makes these drinks, knows what their doing. The presentation of the cocktails and the taste (fresh fruit) absolutely blew me and my friend away. I'll never forget this place! So much pride in what they do!
