The Alderley Grill - Alderley Edge

I had the worst steak ever at this restaurant. It was extremely overcooked and small. My guest ordered a fillet steak but was not served a fillet.

Had been earlier in the week in the evening and had the Chateaubriand for which was vary nice with great service and decent wine by the glass. On the back of this we booked for traditional Sunday lunch and both chose the beef which I have to say was even better than the chateaubriand. Very nicely served and well looked after. We will be going back for more.

Another very enjoyable evening at this restaurant on The food and service are excellent and represent good value and quality fare. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The wine list is well priced and has some iteresting wines.

Superb Tomahawk steak! Though the dessert was a bit mean and a tiny scoop of clotted cream with the treacle tart. Cabaret Zinfandel was delicious and a thoroughly delightful waitress Bev who was lovely and personable. A little pricey but steak was cooked to perfection.

Pleasant staff, good service and excellent food. Food came out without delay. Good choice on menu and our server made a recommendation which was an excellent choice and something I probably wouldn't have chosen if left to me. I have been before and would definitely go back.
