Restaurante Tango - Alcúdia

There are many places in the port that do menu del dia this is one of the best the food is ok the price is very good it is very pleasant to sit outside for lunch

My parents have been going to Trio as it used to be for the last 20 years as have all the family whenever we have visted Pollensa....we always visited at least 3 times during a weeks stay so we were gutted to find it closed last week when we were on holiday...as has been said by others the food was great as was the service and I feel it is a great shame that a family business with such a brilliant reputation has closed...hope someone reconsiders as there is nowhere providing the same service food or value in the town now...

I feel I needed to write this as i am absolutely gutted this is the end of era. We went to Old town Pollensa 1987 came across this little bar called Tango owned and run by a man his wife and a very young child. Trio was just opening round the corner. The owner Manola took us to a night club, and showed us around his hospitality was second to none and that's why we returned year after year taking our children as they grew up. Eventually the move happened we had not been for a few years. We spent a couple of days to find where Tango had moved to and the minute we walked through the door Manola recognised us as he always did , his son now was grown up and helping him to run the place. We ate in his restaurant every night and always on the last day of our holiday we were given a bottle of wine signed with the date on it , needless to say we still have the collection . from a modest bar to an amazing restaurant we watched it grow . Its so sad to hear that its closed now as we were hoping to return next year and see his Son had taken over . Such a shame. Maybe i should up date this later when i go through our photos . But it has been a privilege to have watched the place grow, but heartbreaking to hear its now closed.

Bright spacious restaurant with excellent food and quick service. Enjoyed having lunch there and would certainly visit again when on holiday.

It's so sad to see that this once fabulous restaurant is closed and left to rack and ruin. I recall such great nights here over the many years we have spent in the resort and I doubt the new owners could manage to attain the fabulous standards set by the owners when it was named Trios. Such a shame for the resort.
