Mamma Gallina's Food Truck - Alcoa

Although the flavors were pleasant, the overall experience was lacking. The toppings kept slipping off the naan, resulting in a greasy dish that was difficult to manage. Additionally, the edges were a bit charred. I also noticed a difference between the prices on their website and those at the truck—my pizzini cost $1 more at the truck, and the limited gelato options (only three flavors) were priced $2 higher. In the end, I walked away feeling underwhelmed by Mamma Galina's offerings.

I've consistently had wonderful experiences at Mamma Gallina's. My favorite dish is the Godmother sandwich, which never disappoints. I also strongly recommend trying the Italian nachos – they’re absolutely amazing! To top off my meal, I always treat myself to their incredible gelato. Every visit is a delightful dining experience!

Anyone who has followed my reviews knows that I'm not usually a fan of sandwiches, but the panini I tried here today might just change that! It was freshly made, hot, and full of flavor—I was truly impressed. The people operating the food truck were very friendly and mentioned that they had recently launched their business. I'm not sure how they'll do in downtown Knoxville today, but if I spot them again, I'll definitely be spending my lunch money there!
